The Intensive Care Unit staff nurse assumes principal responsibility for the total nursing care, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of each assigned patient. Initiates teaching and educates the patient and family or significant other to attain optimal health.

| Qualifications |
|
Graduate of a professional nursing program, with current RN licensure in the state of Nebraska. Current BLS and ACLS certifications required. If no ACLS certification upon hire, staff will need to obtain within 3-6 months of hire. 8 hours of trauma education every 2 years.
