Medical Insurance
SunTrust has several types of coverage available for you and your family, beginning the first day of employment for full-time workers. Employee contribution for Medical is deducted pre-tax each payday.
Dental Insurance
Choice of two coverages: Preventive and Comprehensive. Coverage is available for you and your family and begins the first day of employment for full-time workers. Employee contribution is deducted on a semi-monthly basis.
Life Insurance
Basic life insurance equal to 1.5 times annual base pay is provided by the Company to full-time employees.
401(k) Plan
Eligibility begins on the first day of the second month following your hire date. You may elect pre-tax contributions up to 15% of your pay. The Company matches 50% of the first 3% of your 401(k) Plan contributions and then $.50 on the dollar up to 5%. You will be 100% vested in the Company’s matching contributions once they are allocated to your account. As soon you join SunTrust, eligible contributions from qualified plans may be rolled over.
Retirement Plan
After you have completed five years of service, you become vested in our retirement plan and are entitled to receive benefits when you reach retirement age.
Paid Time Off
SunTrust recognizes that personal time away from work can be revitalizing and can increase your productivity. You are eligible for PTO after 3 months of service. Once you are eligible to earn vacation, if you are full-time and a non-officer, you will earn 10 days; officers earn 15 days. We also provide 10 holidays annually and sick days.
